What causes happiness?

It amazes me how we each have a different definition of happiness and the path to get there. Some find happiness in spending time with children; some on a stage entertaining an audience; in the quiet of a recliner, crochet hook in hand; in the hustle and bustle of a downtown boulevard; between the pages of an imaginative, well-written book...

Happiness results from the possession or attainment of what one

considers good.

"Happiness" has a very unique individual and personal in definition. As many of 'us' as there are, and as many defiitions of 'happiness' as there are, wouldn't it be wonderful if we were all about persuing that thing that inspires happiness each and every day? In doing so, our entire environment would be well-adjusted.

Do you know, we were not designed by our Creator to hate life. It was never His intent for humanity to be on the earth suffering. Certainly, when He asks us to 'stretch the corners of our box', in new challenges, it can be uncomfortable - that discomfort is intentional for growth. But God never planned for us to tolerate life. We are not here to simply exist.

You were made for so much more than existing.

Find what brings you deep happiness - that is a gift from your Creator - and pursue it. Often, that feeling of contentment and satisfaction will lead you right to the door step of your calling on this journey of life. Oh, and when you find that door; knock.

What makes you happy? Hint, Hint: 28 day girls, this will be your question for tomorrow! Don't ever give up pursuing what's going to make you feel most alive!
