Casual Miracles

Have you ever heard a story so much that the awe and wonder are somehow lessened?

I think of Grandparents' "walk to school" conversations, or war stories - as an adult you can most likely tell the story, with proper inflections and hand motions right along with them.

What about Bible stories you've heard over and again? Have they lost impact on you?

He turned water into wine. Water actually BECAME wine. Think about it.

If this event has lost impact on you, go to your kitchen, pour a half glass of water, and set it on your dining room table. Now, sit down in front of the water. Turn it into wine.

If you can't do that, make the water separate itself on each side of the glass. (It's only a half glass - this should be pretty easy)

Oh, what? You can't? Hmmmm...

It's not so simple, blaze', run-of-the-mill, is it?

Parting the Red Sea, Turning Water into wine, saving us to the uttermost - miracles - awe inspiring miracles.

And God is still, today, all about miracles.

Whatever you have need of - nothing too big or too small - ask, seek, and knock.
